
(AsiaGameHub) – Pagcor has designated Gaming Laboratories International LLC as the first independent testing laboratory for iGaming in the Philippines. This approval comes as the regulator intensifies oversight of the rapidly growing online gaming market.

GLI Earns First Accreditation Under Pagcor’s New Rules
GLI stated that this accreditation allows it to test and certify iGaming platforms in the Philippines. Under the new framework, all B2B suppliers must meet stricter regulatory and technical standards.
The company noted it will apply “GLI-19: Standards for Interactive Gaming Systems” when evaluating submissions. According to GLI, this standard is already utilized in multiple jurisdictions.
Pagcor Chairman and Chief Executive Alejandro Tengco said regulated gaming markets “ensure a safer and more sustainable gaming industry for all to participate in”.
He further added: “Pagcor now requires all iGaming B2B suppliers operating in the Philippines to be accredited to ensure they comply to the rigorous requirements needed to protect iGaming players.”
GLI President and CEO James Maida expressed thanks to Pagcor “for the trust” it continues to place in GLI.
